"Blow up yer TV, throw away the paper, move to the countree, build you a home! Plant you a garden, eat a lotta peaches, try an find Jesus on your own!" -Bluegrass Band Friends

Sister Kozlowski, Sister Scott and I in the MTC.
Shout out to the Kozlowski's who finished their mission last month! I met them in the MTC and I can't believe a year has gone by. CONGRATULATIONS YALL!!

I hope yall had a great 4th of July!! I spent mine at a park full of people, food trucks, and an old-man-cover-band. It was great. We talked to a LOT of people about Jesus :) And then we watched fireworks :)

I'm trying to respond to everyone, but I want to thank yall for the birthday wishes!! I had a great day! It was transfers, so we spent the afternoon in  a church building full of missionaries. I loved it because I got to see so many friends!! I got my new greenie, Sister Crosby, as a birthday present!! And then Tuesday night Dede and Joel from Oak Grove surprised me with a cake :) bless them. I felt so loved! This mission birthday was much better than my last one because I wasn't sick. But I DID get sick the day after! And Poor Sister Crosby's week was full of me trying to get well. It was a constant "I think I'm well enough to..." "No, I'm probably not" battle. I hate internal conflicts. The good news is that I am almost better and this week is going to be great!! We have big plans, high hopes, and lots of faith :)

So people keep trying to tell us about all the bad in the world. We sense that the news is pretty hard to watch these days? And we see discouragement and worry in so many people's eyes. It's been pretty hard to live in this bubble and see so much heartache around us! So we have really been trying to lift people and emphasize the hope and peace the Gospel brings. Tonight we are teaching a big Family Home Evening lesson for less active members, recent converts, and investigators based on the talk "For Times of Trouble" By Jeffrey R Holland. There is no way I could summarize this talk and give you the full effect. But I know that God loves you, your Saviour loves you, and I love you! Build your trust in Jesus Christ and be prepared for the adversity and the troubles that will come. You should read this talk and please remember that it doesn't hurt to be happy! Here is a link:

Have a blessed week :)
